In a view towards the smooth functioning of the zonal offices, Agenda group is formed in HDMC for each zonal office to inspect the issues related to CC and other activities. For ranking the zonal officers, the same agenda group will be inspecting the zonal offices on rotational basis and will be assigning the points accordingly.

Proceedings of the meeting of the NGOs Meeting held on 20th April, 2006 at 12:45 Noon at Dr. D.R. Bendre hall Meeting Hall, Hubli, to discuss about the various activities undertaken by HDMC.

The Commissioner at the outset welcomed all the Official & NGOs and after detailed discussions, the following decisions were arrived at, which shall have to be taken into cognizance and complied within the time set against each issue.

- All NGOs must submit affidavit to HDMC compulsorily.
- NGOs Groups will be formed as follows:
- One Central Core Group and
- 12 Zonal Groups.
- Each Zonal Office will have one Group and the leader of each group will be a member of the Central Core Group. Only Central Group will attend ORC and other core meetings.
- The Zonal group fixed for each zonal office will be rotating at the time of inspection and allotting marks.
- The Zonal group will be fixed for the period of one year.

Trucks Loading & unloading issue |
- NGOs suggested that all commercial vehicles loading and unloading work should be between 9.00 pm up to 6.00 am only.
- The sand loaded lorries of Hubli-Dharwad should be parked at the outskirts of the City.

Other issue |
- HDMC advertisements should be displayed at Bus Stops.
- HDMC’s welcoming Board should be erected in Savadatti Road.
- HDMC is taking only Rs. 25 Crores as a loan from Banks under Rs. 30 Crores Road Improvement Project.
- Cmr said that HDMC properties will not be given on lease basis.
- Restaurants will be categorized grade wise (5 nos). Each particular number will show the quality & cost of the food.
